What is Usui Reiki & Sekhem – Seichim Reiki?

Usui Reiki and Sekhem-Seichim Reiki (SSR) are both energy healing practices that work with the body’s energy system to restore balance, promote relaxation, and clear blockages. Usui Reiki, originating from Japan, uses life force energy to align and harmonize the body’s seven main energy centers, or Chakras, helping to relieve stress, reduce pain, and encourage overall healing. Sekhem-Seichim Reiki, which blends the principles of Usui Reiki with ancient Egyptian energy healing traditions, utilizes similar techniques but incorporates sacred symbols and rituals from Egypt. This combination enhances the flow of energy, tapping into the wisdom and spiritual depth of Egyptian practices.

Both modalities focus on clearing blockages and restoring balance to the body, mind, and spirit, but Sekhem-Seichim Reiki adds an additional layer of spiritual depth by connecting to the ancient Egyptian healing practices used by priests and pharaohs. Sean Eblin is a Reiki Master Teacher and Practitioner who began his journey into energy healing in 2018 as a Reiki II practitioner. Sean furthered his studies into Egyptian energy healing and became a Sekhem-Seichem Reiki Master in 2023. In 2024 he completed his Usui Reiki Master Teacher training. Sean combines both modalities of energy healing to offer a distinctive and powerful approach to holistic wellness.

Sean’s practice centers on helping individuals achieve balance and renewal by addressing energetic imbalances and promoting deep relaxation. Reiki sessions with Sean are designed to clear blockages, restore harmony to the body’s energy centers, and support overall well-being. His passion for energy healing extends to individuals of all ages* and even to animals, highlighting Reiki’s universal applicability and benefits.
