What is Usui Reiki & Sekhem – Seichim Reiki?
Usui Reiki and Sekhem-Seichim Reiki (SSR) are both energy healing practices that work with the body’s energy system to restore balance, promote relaxation, and clear blockages. Usui Reiki, originating from Japan, uses life force energy to align and harmonize the body’s seven main energy centers, or Chakras, helping to relieve stress, reduce pain, and encourage overall healing. Sekhem-Seichim Reiki, which blends the principles of Usui Reiki with ancient Egyptian energy healing traditions, utilizes similar techniques but incorporates sacred symbols and rituals from Egypt. This combination enhances the flow of energy, tapping into the wisdom and spiritual depth of Egyptian practices.
Both modalities focus on clearing blockages and restoring balance to the body, mind, and spirit, but Sekhem-Seichim Reiki adds an additional layer of spiritual depth by connecting to the ancient Egyptian healing practices used by priests and pharaohs. What to Expect in a Session?
Reiki is one of Sean’s greatest passions and serves as a powerful complement to massage therapy, tarot, psychotherapy, and other wellness practices. His Reiki sessions focus on restoring balance between the mind, body, and spirit by promoting relaxation, energetic alignment, and overall well-being.
As a Master Teacher in both Usui Reiki and Egyptian Sekhem-Seichim Reiki, Sean blends techniques from both traditions to create a personalized healing experience. Sessions may include chakra balancing, energy clearing, healing-frequency music, and aromatherapy to support the body’s natural healing processes. Reiki sessions can be completely hands-off, involve light touch, or be integrated with massage techniques depending on each client’s comfort level and goals.
In addition to healing sessions, Sean also offers Reiki training and attunements in both Usui Reiki and Egyptian Sekhem-Seichim Reiki traditions.
